LAHORE - DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza held an open court in the jurisdiction of Shahdara Police Station. SP Investigation City Farhat Abbas, along with DSP Investigations, participated in the open court. A large number of Investigation In-Charges, Investigating Officers, and citizens were present at the event.
Citizens shared their concerns and issues directly with the DIG Investigation. DIG Investigation listened to the citizens’ issues and issued immediate on-the-spot orders for their resolution.
DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza reprimanded some investigating officers and issued show-cause notices over poor investigations.
“There will be zero tolerance for any compromise on merit,” said DIG Investigation. DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza strictly instructed investigating officers to resolve cases on merit. “Public complaints regarding case investigations will be addressed promptly,” said the DIG. Ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority of the Investigation Police, stated DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza. “The purpose of the open court is to maintain a strong connection between the public and the police,” said the DIG. “Peace and order can only be achieved by providing citizens with immediate and timely justice,” said DIG Investigation. Officers should treat incoming citizens with respect and politeness and strive to further improve their performance, said Syed Zeeshan Raza. “The doors of my office are always open for resolving public grievances,” said DIG Investigation.
