Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday voiced full support for the decisions made by the National Security Committee (NSC), stating they would uplift both national and military morale.
Speaking to the media, Rehman said, "With the decisions made by the NSC, the morale of the nation and the army will be boosted," adding that the entire country is united in the defence of Pakistan.
In a strong rebuke to India, Rehman accused New Delhi of shifting the blame for its security failures onto Pakistan. "India is blaming Pakistan over its [India's] security failures," he said.
"The entire nation will give a befitting response to India over its aggressive strategy towards Pakistan," Rehman asserted, reaffirming his party's unwavering support for the NSC’s position.
He concluded by stating there was no doubt that “the entire country is standing with the stance of the National Security Committee.”
