Former caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday, where they discussed key issues of mutual interest, including national peacekeeping and provincial development initiatives.
CM Maryam warmly welcomed Kakar and briefed him on various initiatives aimed at youth empowerment in Punjab through education, IT training, internships, and job opportunities.
She emphasized that health and peacekeeping remain top priorities for her government.
Kakar praised Maryam Nawaz for launching transformative projects in the health and education sectors, calling them a powerful example of women's empowerment in Pakistan.
He also commended the ongoing health sector reforms under her leadership.
