Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday accused India’s intelligence agency, RAW, and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) of being behind several terrorist incidents, including the recent bloodshed in Pahalgam.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Naqvi criticized India for failing to condemn the Pahalgam attack, which killed 27 tourists in India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and instead wrongly blaming Pakistan.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for an impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam massacre while addressing the passing-out parade at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul.
The prime minister warned that any attempt by India to block Pakistan’s water under the Indus Waters Treaty would be met with a strong response, cautioning against any "misunderstanding."
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan consistently rejected terrorism in all its forms and reminded that Pakistan had suffered immensely, losing 90,000 lives and incurring billions of dollars in economic losses due to terrorism.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace and security globally, especially as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
