Pakistan women's cricket team vice-captain and opening batter Muneeba Ali has said that being named in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier Team of the Tournament is not only a personal honour but also a proud moment for Pakistan.
“We are grateful to Almighty Allah for this recognition,” said Muneeba Ali. “I will strive to continue this level of performance in the World Cup to help Pakistan secure more victories.”
Muneeba highlighted the team’s historic achievement, saying, “For the first time, Pakistan Women’s team has won two warm-up matches and five tournament matches in a single event, which is a remarkable accomplishment.”
She credited the coaching staff for their significant contribution, stating, “Our coaches worked hard on improving our skills, and that effort truly paid off.”
Muneeba also thanked PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi for visiting the women’s team and announcing a reward for their achievements.
