Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, reaffirmed on Sunday that Pakistan is fully capable of responding to any Indian provocation with strength and determination, as demonstrated during past incidents.
Speaking to foreign media representatives in Islamabad, Tarar cited the 2019 Pulwama incident, recalling how Pakistan responded wisely and decisively, leaving India to regret its actions.
The minister criticized India for failing to condemn the recent Jaffar Express attack in Balochistan, where many innocent lives were lost. He accused India of engaging in state-sponsored terrorism within Pakistan and other countries, pointing to credible evidence of Indian financial support for terror activities in Balochistan.
Tarar also referred to the attack on Pakistan’s High Commission in London, attributing it to India's extremist ideology that incites violence against Pakistani interests abroad.
Highlighting Pakistan’s ongoing success in combating terrorism, he praised the country's security forces for consistently foiling terror plots and eliminating militants.
Rejecting Indian accusations linking Pakistan to the recent Pahalgam incident, Tarar emphasized that the area is located over 150 kilometers from the Line of Control and that India has yet to present any credible evidence. He reiterated Pakistan’s call for an independent investigation, stressing that Pakistan’s clean record speaks for itself.
The minister concluded by affirming Pakistan’s role as a responsible member of the international community with strong, peaceful ties to its neighboring countries.
