In a strong response to India's suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty following the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan has announced the closure of its airspace to Indian aircraft for one month.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), declaring that Pakistani airspace is now off-limits to all Indian civil and military aircraft.
This restriction also applies to leased planes operated by Indian airlines, regardless of registration.
Reports indicate that the closure could result in significant financial losses for India, as nearly 80 to 100 Indian flights pass through Pakistani airspace daily.
