On the occasion of World Malaria Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a modern and comprehensive strategy to combat malaria across the province.
In a statement issued Friday, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of public awareness in preventing the disease. “Raising awareness about malaria prevention is crucial to protecting our communities,” she said.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted that the Punjab government is actively conducting anti-malaria spray campaigns and providing free testing and treatment facilities in every district.
She reaffirmed her government’s commitment to improving public health and said that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the effective implementation of anti-malaria measures throughout the province.
