Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday strongly condemned foreign involvement in recent terror activities, stating that the militants killed in North Waziristan were acting on the orders of their "foreign masters."
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Naqvi lauded the security forces for swiftly eliminating the threat, crediting prior intelligence that enabled them to intercept and neutralize the infiltrators effectively.
"Our security forces deserve full appreciation for their outstanding operation," he said, warning that anyone plotting against Pakistan would face severe consequences. Naqvi confirmed that all 54 militants attempting to cross the border were eliminated, and cautioned that any future attempts would meet a similar fate.
He also expressed serious concerns about India's involvement in the Pahalgam incident, calling for an impartial international investigation to uncover the truth.
